Ipswich Building Society has announced the launch of its Prestige programme for 2016, the exclusive club for its loyal broker partners. The Society is strengthening its commitment to the sector following extensive research into the needs of intermediaries and the recent launch of its dedicated broker brand and new proposition. Membership to its Prestige Club is by invitation only with numbers strictly limited to a maximum of 18 partners.

At the launch event at Duxford Air Museum, members were given exclusive intermediary access to two of the Society’s new mortgage products. Paul Winter, CEO of Ipswich Building Society, commented, “This latest launch of Prestige brokers builds on our improved proposition, highlighting our strengths in manual underwriting and in supporting the needs of mortgage misfits, particularly older borrowers, the self-employed, self-builders and applicants facing major life changes. Whilst we have been working hard to review our processes to benefit all brokers who work with us, our Prestige members will benefit further from having a personally assigned underwriter and other exclusive benefits such as exclusive event invitations, limited availability products and fast-track case processing.”

The launch event was hosted at the historic Duxford Air Museum, famous for its role in the Battle of Britain and featured a tour by Chris Scholfield, Aviation Historian. Guests were able to get close to aircraft including the Spitfire and Concorde, and meet the Society’s Executive team to hear their views on industry topics including the forthcoming Mortgage Credit Directive.
